Refunds, Warranty, & Terms


General Policy Overview

At Bryanne Torres Studio and Alpha Wolf Murals, each piece of art is carefully created with passion and dedication. We are committed to delivering the highest quality of work, and your satisfaction is important to us. Please review the policies below carefully.

We maintain a no return and no refund policy on original and custom-made artwork, with exceptions noted below. However, all paintings and murals are backed by a lifetime warranty, with applicable shipping or travel fees.

 

Custom and Non-Custom Paintings

Because of the handcrafted and unique nature of our paintings:

  • All sales are final.
  • No returns or refunds will be issued once a purchase is completed.
  • Exceptions apply only if the artwork arrives damaged or defective (see Damaged and Defective Items below).

This policy applies to both custom and non-custom paintings.

 

Prints and Merchandise

(Includes apparel, mugs, tote bags, and other branded items)

If you’re not fully satisfied with your order of prints or merchandise:

  • You may return the item within 14 days of receipt.
  • Items must be in original condition and packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Damaged Items (Prints/Merch)

If your print or merchandise arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Include photos of the damage.
  • We will offer a replacement at no charge or a full refund.

 

Damaged or Defective Items (Paintings)

While original/custom paintings are not returnable, if your artwork arrives damaged due to shipping:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
  • Provide photos of the damage.
  • We will assess the situation and work toward an appropriate resolution (see Warranty Information below).

 

Murals

Deposit Policy

All mural projects require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and begin design work.

Once painting begins, the deposit remains non-refundable.

 

Client Cancellation

If the client cancels the project after work has begun:

The client is responsible for all work completed to date, plus materials and design fees incurred.

Charges will be applied à la carte, based on the agreed-upon pricing breakdown in the mural service agreement (e.g., per sketch, background, subject, detailing, etc.)

 

Artist Cancellation

If the artist cancels the project due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, family emergency, unsafe work conditions):

  • A full refund will be issued for any uncompleted portion of the work.

Weather-related delays may adjust the project timeline.

This does not qualify for a refund unless the artist is unable to complete the mural within 30 days of the original end date, or unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

 

Warranty Information

We proudly offer a lifetime warranty on all original paintings and murals for your peace of mind.

 

Original/Custom Paintings

Coverage Includes:

  • Cracking paint or warped canvas under normal conditions
  • Accidental damage from handling (e.g., small scratches or dents)

 

Exclusions:

  • Damage caused by framing or improper installation
  • Environmental factors (extreme temperatures, humidity, sunlight)
  • Misuse or physical damage (e.g., tears, holes)

 

Return Shipping:

Customers are responsible for shipping costs when sending a painting back for repair.

 

Murals

Coverage Includes:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Accidental surface damage under normal use

 

Exclusions:

  • Weather damage (e.g., flooding, hurricanes, heat exposure over time)
  • Fading due to declined weather protection
  • Structural issues like wall cracking or water intrusion

 

Optional Weather Protection

To extend the life of outdoor murals, we offer UV- and weather-protective coatings, which are:

  • Highly recommended for exterior murals
  • Best selected before the deposit is made (to avoid rescheduling complications)
  • Available after completion upon request

If selected after completion, scheduling may be delayed due to future bookings. A return trip for coating may be delayed due to future bookings.

All murals use high-quality, durable paints, but protective coatings add an extra layer of resilience.


Travel Fees

Travel fees may apply for mural locations more than 15 miles from the artist’s studio. These will be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking.

 

Digital Designs and Mockups

Any digital designs, sketches, or mockups shared with the client remain the intellectual property of Bryanne Torres Studio and Alpha Wolf Murals. These materials may not be altered, refused, or distributed without written permission. Use of these files is limited to the commissioned project only and does not grant reproduction rights unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. 

 

Making a Warranty Claim

Please include the following in your message:

  • Your order number and date of purchase
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos showing the defect or damage

 

If your claim is covered, we’ll offer a repair free of charge (excluding return shipping or travel fees). Shipping costs depend on your zip code/location.

 

Care Instructions

To protect your investment, please follow these guidelines:

  • Avoid direct sunlight: Prevent fading and discoloration.
  • Maintain stable humidity and temperature: Avoid high humidity and extreme heat or cold.
  • Handle with care: Move or clean artwork gently.
  • Dust regularly: Use a soft, dry cloth; avoid cleaning sprays or water.
